SPACER: I spent most of the summer finishing UFO's. I finished 7 and didn't start anywhere near that many so I guess I'm gaining on the pile. |

The curved Log cabin ("Yellow Not Allowed") was started at a retreat several years ago. I started with the border fabric and selected green, yellow, pink, and lavender fabrics to go with the border fabric. When I finished the blocks and put them on my design wall they looked like Easter eggs. I went back and took out all the yellow and replaced it with green. It was definitely worth the effort. It was machine quilted by a friend of mine in Junction City, OR. I keep the quilt laying over the back of the couch in the living room and it certainly perks it up. |

"Falling Leaves" was started at a retreat in September 2003. I also
machine quilted it this summer.
I had fun machine quilting veins in all the leaves. |

"By the Shining Light" was started in a class Gidge taught for my local guild in the late 1990's. It is a class she teaches on line now. A friend of mine who is an awesome longarm quilter quilted it for me in 2003. The binding on it was
one of the techniques taught in the machine quilting class I took from Ricky Tims
during the summer. |

"Butterfly Stars" is my first Stack and Whack quilt which was started several years ago. The fabric is the butterfly fabric still available at WalMart. It was also quilted by my friend who has a long arm. |

"Where's My Lily Pad?" is made using a crayon technique. You color the fabric with regular crayons and heat set it with an iron between paper towels. I embroidered with perle cotton around the picture. I machine quilted it this summer during my giant quilting frenzy. |

"9-11 Memories" is a quilt I designed and made during a quilting retreat in September 2001. I finally quilted it this summer. |
