What becomes of some of those swaps?????

                         

The story behind this quilt top, (note it is a quilt top, lots of embellishments will be done on it before it is layered and bound) and I mean lots. 
 
This was the nine patch swap that Spacer did for the guild in Sept to Nov. 2004.
 
I received back a total of 24 blocks and thought "how will I put this together?"  Then when I learned to slice in half both vertically and horizontally ( the nine patches)  I came up with individual blocks of 4+", so then to assemble them without them running into each other!!  That was a challenge, but had the inner part done.  I knew that there would be moose on the quilt, so here are a total of 30 moose.  Of course this quilt will be name "ROYAL PURPLE LADIES OF THE NIGHT MOOSES ON THE RUN".  I have some many ideas on embellishing this quilt and when it is completed you will all see it.
 
Thanks Spacer for doing this swap. It was a lot of fun!  Now to get back to the Auntie Grace Opportunity Quilts.  I have made a total of 5 quilts from Crib size to Queen size, so be on the look out for them in the coming months, that is if the borders ever get done.  Two down , three to go!
