Show and Tell -

The hope of spring - and those UFO's are getting cleared out !!

Magicat's on to new projects!.....

There will be six or nine teapots...depending on how ambitious I'm feeling after the 6th.

 All will be different.

I have till near the end of May to complete the quilt, so I think I'll take time between each block to work on other things.

JO-IN's been a busy quilter once more!!

I made this little piece after seeing Patricia Knoeckle (E. Burns' sister) do a demo.

I think it was called Grandmother's Flower Garden - - not sure tho.

Baskets quilt, pieced it about 3 1/2 years ago - a gal asked if she could hand quilt it and I agreed.

She did a beautiful job, quite heavily quilted!

Close up of one of the corners/border.

This is a crib size quilt, machine quilted.

TY gets at those UFOs too.  As a machine quilter, she has been quilting quilts of others too.

Okay here are some of the projects I've just completed. I'm in a different group that has UFO buddies

and it's really motivated me to get some of these things off my list...

Here are three baby quilts I needed to get done for family members.

This one is Baby Diamonds from a Fons & Porter magazine....

This one if for a little girl named Baylee,
she's kind of been adopted by us as a granddaughter.
I quilted this several months ago and just got around to the binding last weekend.
Her birthday is in March so I think I did better than usual even if I had planned it for Christmas.
LOL  It works out better anyway, it's such a springtime quilt, the quilting is butterflies and flowers

Ugly fish from an ugly fabric challenge. I finally got  the binding on so it is off my UFO list. The back shows the quilting and it's the first thing I quilted on my Gammill last year so here's the back so you can see the quilting.

This is one I quilted for a customer.  It's a baby quilt and I just really liked it.

GAquiltR shows us her beautiful projects!

The sailboat I made last summer in a class & right now is hanging in a gallery art show.

This is a challenge of our local guild, finished last December.  I made it into a crib quilt & donated it to our local hospital project.

(this one will be moved to the RPLTON Gallery !)

Gidge sends us her projects!!

This photo is the February Block for GAquiltR's Birthday Block swap.  I have been with this group for many years now and have chosen to more often than not send a photo of the block that I am sending out to all of the swap members.  I have attached a second picture that is a composite of many of the past blocks created for this group of swappers.  Swapping is so much fun and it challenges folks to reach out of their comfort zone.

I am in the midst of sewing for my first grandson that has a birth date in April.  I will send photos of the items as they are completed.
