SSS Report:

Secret Sisters is moving along just the way it is supposed to.

Well, that is if you don't count lost email addresses, mixed up snail mail addresses, and the other usual glitches.  Any Secret Sister who finds herself 'missing in action' please do feel free to email me, and I will try to locate the problem.  Also reminder to the Sisters to check the Fabric Stash Secret Sister Bulletin Board now and then as this is often where the ladies go when email addresses et al get lost.  (smoky notes - it's also a great place to leave "secret" messages for your sister too!!)

February 2005 Birthday Report

The Birthday Report...

Happy belated birthday to those ladies who did not pick up their birthday greetings for the month of February.  Perhaps you still have your computer set as "spam" when Angelwinks or Deerlake sends you a card.  Those two sights are safe to accept.

I will be using one or the other of them for the birthday greetings during 2005.  Hope you had a wonderful day!

February greetings numbered 16.  Records show that 9 were picked up and 2 thank you's were received.

Happy Birthday from Colleen/MT, the Birthday Gal for 2004-2005

*(Valentines were also sent to every RPLOTN member on the active roster.  If you did not receive a Valentine, please recheck your email settings.)

NEWSLETTER Report

The smell of spring!!! Our weather has been so warm up here!!  (well - Edmonton is the Great White North compared to most of the RPLOTN members - in ALL countries! )  The snow is disappearing very quickly.

It's been a month for counting blessings in this household as I had time to myself for quilting, enjoying my friends and our playing soccer together and looking around at all the people we know who are going through some very tough times.   Our hearts, sympathies and hopefully the shoulder to lean on will help comfort those who need it now.  My friends - cyber and neighbour have been there for me in the past - it's my turn for them now.

The newsletter format is becoming pretty stable - and our web site pages are expanding.  Our membership is taking on new people, and the chat room seems to be a busy place once again.  For those who are having the charity quilts shipped to them - I hope we understand and appreciate the financial freedom of finishing them off - and I look forward to being able to display the end results with the pictures you send me here in the newsletter very soon!!
