Golf, Cabo San Lucas Style! This was right across the street from the Hilton we stayed at.

When we went to town, this was the overhang we would stand under to wait for the bus shuttle.
What wonderful construction...the shadow play is outstanding!

View from Hilton-to the right is a restaurant surrounded by the running 'stream'. Every morning was like this. Perfect! The white tent below in the center is where we had dinner a few nights  .... right on the beach.

View from Hilton-one of the many beautiful mornings in Cabo San Lucas.

LEft side of the Hilton.....so big I had to take two pictures! The white tent is where you can get a massage on the beach.

The Tiki hut is an outdoor bar with a pool  you can sit in, to have a drink. The bar stools are  underwater.

The huge white tent is where we had our dinners a few nights.
There's so much activity but the beach still seems so unpopulated.

San Jose Cabo... I'm checking out the batiks!  Isn't this a crazy mess of color? I love it!

San Jose Cabo-Close to outside these shops is where a man was wheeled in front of me in a wheelchair. I realized after they got him out in the sun that it was "Roy" from Zigfreid and Roy, the famous Tiger Tamers! Roy was being helped into the car by four people. He's very thin and can hardly move on his own, but it was really great to see him, after all he has been through, he sat up straight and proud in the front seat of the car.  Later in the day when we got back to the hotel, I found out they were staying in the same hotel we were! I never saw them but others saw Zigfreid and thought it was Rod Stewart. lol

San Jose Cabo-I love these sun faces!

San Jose Cabo - THIS one is my absolute favorite sun! The double eyeball things creep me out! lol

San Jose Cabo - I was so excited to see the flamingos!

San Jose Cabo-We tried to figure out how to get this sun mirror home....I should have taken the flamingos.

San Jose Cabo - Doesn't everyone want one of THESE? lol

San Jose Cabo - behind the shop where the work is done on the plaster suns and figures.

San Jose Cabo-carved wood circle. Another thing we tried to figure out how to get home. But didn't get.
LOVE the colors!!!!! Everything is so bright and vibrant!

San Jose Cabo-This shop we did find a green sun with painted eyes and brass around the sun's rays.

San Jose Cabo - This was opalescent in the sun. The pictures do not do the glass justice.
Of course, I wanted it. But it was huge!

Just a taste of some of the nice stained glass in San Jose Cabo.

San Jose Cabo-The opal jewelry is so glittery and shiny. Very awesome.

San Jose Cabo-More moons and suns. I really wanted a lot of those....every shop we went into! lol

San Jose Cabo-this is too much exposure or disorganized.....I can't figure which or is it both?

The water looks warm but it was about 55-60 degrees! Still breathtaking...and so clear!

This was interesting to watch the water come around this rock and then pull the sand out. The undertow is pretty strong!

Hilton Beach-ahhhhhhhhh this will warm up any cold winter day!

Hilton Beach-and to think, I was laying on these rocks sunning myself, a man came along and pointed out the hundreds of rock crabs. Well, I was done sunning for the day then! lol

Annie on Cabo Beach-This is what Glenda/OR calls "Stall time". Time to myself...despite the rock crabs! {:oD

We ate here, at the top of the building on the right, outdoors. It was beautiful!

Lorenzillos Food-our friend John staring at the giant lobster!
The restaurant we ate at has been owned by the same family for over 300 years. The food was outstanding!

Lorenzillos Food   -   Me in the middle and some of the wives that are married to the guys DH works with.
Fun group! We're in front of the giant lobster.

Santa Maria Bay-this is the deserted bay we went snorkeling in and saw Tuna and sardines.
The pelicans were diving to eat and I kept thinking...no, not me, I am not a sardine!

Santa Maria Bay-our snorkeling guide, and DH and I were the only ones around. Very peaceful.

With full tummies, the pelicans would soar above our room on the fifth floor, and circle around many times before flying off into the Mexican sunset, to face another day of diving for sardines....this is the life!

Annie - these pictures are wonderful ... inspirations for quilts - and great memories of a special, if brief, break from winter! Smoky.
