We made it into the Quilter's World MAGAZINE!

Donalyn writes:
"I belong to the Royal Purple Ladies of the Night Online Quilt Guild. We have been in existence since 1996, chatting with many people from around the world. Our membership list includes about 200 members. Our main goal is to make quilts for charity, and we are now in the final stages of gathering quilts for the victims of the tornado that devastated Greensburg, Kan. Our president, along with three other members, presented quilts to officials there in September.
"I would love to see an article about online quilting chat rooms, and what they have been doing to help those in need. In the past we have donated quilts to the victims of the 2000 Montana fires and to the hurricane victims from 2005 and so forth.
If you would like to see what our guild is about, go to Rplotn.com. If you wish to chat with us, we chat at Fabric-Stash.com. We welcome you and love your magazine and new format."
Thanks for reminding us about this, Donalyn. I also found another group at HeartStringsQuiltProject.Blogspot.com/2007/05/Kansas-Quilt-Donations.html.
Check out this worthy cause if you or your group would like to get involved.
Thank you Sandra! (she's ok'd putting her masthead AND connection to her site in our newsletter!!!)
