On March 17th, we celebrated National Quilting Day by doing a Mystery Quilt, provided by Judy Hopkins.
The event went smoothly I believe.  Am waiting to see all the photos of the finished quilts and to find out who we donated them too.  I have posted a photo of my completed Mystery with label on.  Will be donating to the Shriner's Hospital in Springfield Massachusetts.

I want to say a special "THANK YOU" to Bert/WA.
She came through like a trooper in  helping me with posting the instructions to the Yahoo Site.  Thanks Bert you are a master computer wizard, besides Smoky.  Now if we could get you two together, what kind of designs your could come up with.
 
The evening party on March 17th had Bert, Sally, Jo, Needles, lostberrypicker, pjdon, Euny, Claudia, Auntie Em and Spacer attended.  We had a fun evening discussing different quilting projects that we worked on during the day and sharing some good Irish Cyber Food and drink. 
 
Hope all enjoyed it as much as I did.

FEBRUARY PARTY REPORT.....

We had a wonderful Party last night. Lots of laughter. I wasn't feeling well but through the night the laughing made me feel so much better.  They loved the question and even asked where I got them.  We also got little plug in for the lotto Blocks. (Big Smile) Sally won her name being entered into the Lotto blocks I will make hers up. Next month I will make some for Needles.

 
March is just around the corner. I thought we could do the Party on the 17th St. Patrick's Day.  6:00 Pacific Time. Bring your Green to St. Patty's Party.  Come in Disguise! Let see if we can guess who is Who!
 
QD came up with a brilliant idea about sending something foolish to someone and not telling them who sent it.

PARTIES....

Why do we only have parties for each other when one of us gets married, pregnant, has a birthday, or retires?  What would most of us do without our sisters, confidants, and shopping, lunching and traveling girlfriends?  Let's celebrate each other for each other's sake! Pass this on to your girlfriends! If you get this twice or more, you are lucky to have more than one girlfriend.   Be happy!

Someone will always be prettier. They will always be smarter. Their house will be bigger. They will drive a better car. Their children will do better in school. And their husband will fix more things around the house.

So let it go, and love you and your circumstances. Think about it. The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart. And the most highly favored woman on your job may be unable to have children. And the richest woman you know, she's got the car, the house, the clothes....might be lonely.

And the word says if "I have not Love, I am nothing."  So, again, love you.  Love who you are.  Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say "I am too blessed to be stressed and too anointed to be disappointed!"

"Winners make things happen.  Losers let things happen." 

Be Blessed ladies and pass this on to encourage another woman. 

"To the world you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world".
