Spacer/OR shares her projects...

Neal's Jungle was made for my son who is a zookeeper in Birmingham, AL.  It is a pattern from Jan Krentz's book, Hunter Star Quilts and Beyond.  It was quilted by a friend of mine who had a long arm business.

Click on the photo for a larger picture with better detail.  (It will take time to load).

Fancy Bass was started in a class.  When I finished it, it seemed very plain so I added the river grass and the small fish.  Since I took this picture I have also added rocks to it.

Garden Path was started several years ago.  It's finish was delayed because I had trouble finding appropriate yarn.

qD learns from Ami Simms!!

The String Quilt.  I made two of them - one for Granddaughter Jordyn and one for Granddaughter Jennifer.  This is Jennifer's quilt (forgot to take the picture of Jordyn's.)

I took this class with Ami back in October 2001, when Ami was our guest Speaker and Teacher at the Greater Hartford Quilt Guilds Annual Meeting.  My local guild was the Hostesses for this event and I was co-chairperson of the event.  We had two classes with Ami, plus her wonderful lecture.

Note:  Ami Simms was the RPLOTN Guest Lecturer in September - see http://www.rplotn.com/Lectures

And qD completes a project!!!

Okay my Sunflower Quilt is done, really done, quilted bound and finished.  Another UFO bites the dust.

This was a Stack N Whack that I made in Florida this past Winter, finally finished and it is going back to Florida at our winter Home called SUNFLOWERS.  A gift for our Landlady and future tenants.
