Charity Report ~ from our Antlers....
Please don't forget our charity quilt raffle - the last one of this year! See http://www.rplotn.com
Antlers are looking for more Lotto Blocks and also they are looking for orphan blocks. They would also love to have anyone in the guild to contact them, for charity quilts. They are many organizations around this country and in Canada that need them. If you have a quilt or want to make a quilt from some of these blocks, please, please, please contact them.
So please Ladies of the Guild, please contact your Antler and ask them what you can do or help them with.
Purple Hugs

NEWSLETTER Report
Another month has just flown by! Where did it go?
New beginnings - and a farewell to a job handled very well by qD!! Thank you for taking on the helm of this group of quilters from all corners of the earth!!
Needles, thank you too for all your advice, and organizing the parties.
Welcome to new people - and just a quick prompt... I am going to need a mug shot!!
I look forward to continuing the newsletter - and am planning some changes for it. A few folk seem to have problems downloading the newsletter - but seem to be able to read all the other pages of rplotn.com. Since there is no real "newsletter" to download, these pages are created and stored exactly the same as the non-newsletter pages, it is very confusing. If people could not get to the Opportunity Page, or not read the Brown Bag page, or even the main www.rplotn.com page, then I could understand it. I am going to look into a couple of options - including making the newsletter something to download - as in an Adobe (pdf) file.
The Meetings page is not in the newsletter - as once a newsletter is published, it doesn't change. And meetings, minutes and agendas are constantly being updated, so it hasn't been in the newsletter for quite some time.
Send in photos - the newsletter is a showcase for YOUR projects - so if you wish to see it continue - we need your photo support.
Happy Thanksgiving fellow Canadians, and Happy Columbus Day to the U.S. quilters!
Smoky.
