Quilting for a cure.... Willo44 and Smoky!

On September 30 we had a Quilt Pink for Breast Cancer event at the shop I work at. This is one of the two quilts we completed for auction.

Proceeds to go to Breast Cancer research. My co worker Roberta is holding the quilt.

The heart designs are Jenny Haskins designs used with permission. We did one quilt in assorted Pinks and Cream and one in assorted Pinks and white.

Meanwhile, Smoky pulled various pinks and browns and based her quilt on Tara Lynn Darr's pattern Mother's and Daughters: A Quilt For The Cure (Sew Unique Creations)... also used with permission. 

This quilt will go towards the fundraiser through www.TheQuilt.com in 2007.
