Phyllis/WA wins a RIBBON....

This wall hanging won a 2nd place ribbon in the medium sized pieced quilts category at the Clark County (Vancouver, WA) Quilt Guild Quilt Show April 6-8, 2006.  It is 50" square.

I bought the Jinny Beyer kit from SewExpo in Puyallup, WA, several years ago and got it done just in time for the quilt show.  It is a gift for my youngest son and his wife for their 14th wedding anniversary.

We hooked up in The Dalles for a quilt show in which Cookie was heavily involved.  She spent the day demonstrating hand quilting.  The show was lovely and well attended and it was fun to be with purple ladies!
