Irishga - completed RR's - a trip down memory lane!!

This is my round robin, done with Canadian quilters, RPLOTN members and/or FS chatters.  This RR was hosted by Lorlie & Liz.  My centre square was called Bear in a Blueberry Patch at Sunset - August 1998.  2nd round was done by Kathy Hockings in Sept. 1998  3rd Round - set on point was done by Joan Rollason, (quiltin nana of BC) in October 1998; Lorlie Engbrecht of Saskatchewan added the 4th round of Midnight Suns and Ravens she passed it over to Liz Friswell in January 1999 to add the seminole border and finally Shirley Bobier of Ontario dyed fabric to match and
added the last border of log cabins and geese fabric in a bear paw block in February 1999.  I added the label and freehand/meander quilted it and added a black binding to complete it.  This picture was taken before I had the binding on.  I met Joan in Skagway, Alaska the summer of 1999.  I have pictures of all the ladies that participated in this project.  I used the journal for this Round Robin one as the journal for my row robin as well.

This is from a "Row" robin started in May 1999.  Participants were Janice Killips aka wildroseqlts . She did the butterfly row; Rosemary from Prince George did the tulip on point row; Canuck (Linda) did the heart rows; Cindy from Westbank did the tesellating pinwheels; Heather (Belle) did the Monkey Wrench Row; and Denise from Quebec did the row of baskets.  I did the three D flowers and four patch (top row).  I finished the quilt with a purple flannel backing and I gave it to my friend for her 50th birthday in 2004.

The Bow-Tie quilt was hosted by Kelly-Anne of Edmonton.  I then made some extras to get it this large; added a plaid flying geese border and put buttons in the center of each block of four bow ties.  That's my little head peaking over the top.  The quilt behind me - I made for a friend's wedding gift - it is an English Wedding Ring in burgundy thimbleberries and green thimbleberries and a 'shirting' fabric.
