Headed to the Quilt SHOW! ...

GAquiltR shares her Mountain Winter  ...

Here is a photo of my most recent completion.  It's called Mountain Winter. It's a challenge issued by Mountain QuiltFest in Pigeon Forge last March.  It'll be judged next week.  Will be fun to walk into the show & see MY quilt hanging there.  I've never entered anything in a show before.  Wish me luck.

Purple hugs, Terry

The challenge fabrics were:
1 - purple with gold stars (delectable mountains)
2 - red ivy leaves (one log & inner border)
3 - floral (outer border)
4 - stripe (binding)
We could add any other fabrics (not to exceed 70%)
Theme: Mountain Heritage
I used nearly every bit of the issued fabric - didn't have enough left to make a potholder!

Willo44 has been busy too.....

I made this feathered star for my Mom for Christmas.  I loved the fabric as it was Christmas but not red and green.

Every once in a while I feel like doing a “no brainer” quilt.  Log cabin is as easy as it gets but I really had fun experimenting with some machine quilting.

More of Willo44's quilts - and others.. continue thru More Show and Tell...
