March  comes in like a lion! But goes out like a lamb. We here at RPLOTN don’t come in like a lion, unless someone stirs the pot! What stirs the Pot? Well, we all stir the Fabric Pots. We all have a huge desire to touch, buy and hoard fabric. Fabrics are peculiar, just like all of us in RPLOTN. We have those who will not conform to using a pattern the way it supposed to be, but that person is doing her or his thing, using it the way they want. We have people who make so many tops and have them quilted for charity. Those people aren’t peculiar - they are creative, and want to give of themselves to others who are less fortunate or has suffered a tragedy . We have those who just like to sit and read books, newsletter or chat; they aren’t peculiar - they want Friendship. So what is a peculiar fabric? It is a person whose has creative juices flowing, a person who sits and thinks and a person who wants to be a friend. That is all in RPLOTN. We are the fabrics of friendship and quilting and we all love this art.

Another facet of quilting is Color. We have a love of mixing and matching colors. From dyeing, to painting to buying the just right red or green for the future quilt. Color is also a hue in RPLOTN. We have colorful quilts and projects on our website. We have colorful lectures and accounts of events we have partaken in, in chat telling of our colorful day or evening we have had. We know just what hue to use in chatting, to let someone lean their head on when a tragic event happens or just to hear about the newest arrival in a family. Again, we are the colors of a large wheel touching each and every one of us some way. We meld from the North to South, East to West, even across the oceans.

This is why we are the ROYAL PURPLE LADIES OF THE NIGHT ONLINE QUILT GUILD. We fuse together friendships in a wheel of color and use peculiar fabrics to display ourselves.
