I am a happily married mother of two grown daughters, Mandy 29 and Kelsey 25 and
grandmother to Isabella, Emma and Marcus.
My
husband Ken and I are also parents to two wonderful four legged children, Duke the chow
and Fletcher the Mini Dachshund.
I have been quilting for near 20 years now and sewing for what seems like all of my
life. I work part time at a local quilt shop and teach at several quilt shops as
well as lecture and teach for many guilds in the area. I have my own pattern line
and have been published three times with my own unique method of appliqué. I
have a lovely sewing room where I can be found when I am not running around teaching.
In addition to quilting I also love to chat and learn about computers. I
really am a want-to-be computer geek. I love to take a break from my sewing and chat with
friends on line, sharing thoughts and ideas and web sites that we find and pass on.
I also love to read, camp and jump on the back of my husband’s motorcycle. A rider
myself, I have given up my own motorcycle for the comfort of the back seat.
