YoYo/MN has been busy too!!

The first picture, green shamrock,  is my variation of Eleanor Burns'  Love the Log Cabin Quilt from her book, "Still Stripping After 25 Years". This was a mystery quilt I did at Whispering Meadows retreat  in August.

The second picture shows the pillow top I made from the extra log cabin block.

The snowman wallhanging is a panel I bought at Wal-Mart last year. I quilted it and took it to a club auction fund raiser and it brought $26.00. I was a happy camper.  Mostly, I'm happy I finished both projects LOL

SPACER gets input from chatters....

"I just finished this star and am debating on a border.  I hope the pictures are clear enough for you to see.  I'm looking for some input.  In both cases I have a narrow tannish border.  I'm debating between the stripe and the dark red.  Any input you have would be appreciated........"

Well... we gave her input.... and this is what she finished off with....

"Since I asked you guys for input, I thought it only fair to show you the final results.

I designed it last Saturday nigth after buying the fabric earlier in the day.  I sewed the star last Sunday with plans to finish it during the week.  Between my meetings and Ted's meetings it didn't happen.  I put the borders on (after I sought input) and quilted it yesterday.  Today I bound it.  Just needs a label.
