Ed is still looking after our chat site. Recently we had a rash of spam postings - so he has had to remove the various posting sites. The chat room feature will be moved to new computers and we should be able to enjoy even faster service!! We thank Ed VERY MUCH for making it possible to chat thru www.fabric-stash.com
CONNECTING TO RPLOTN CHAT USING MIRC
Okay here is the easiest way to connect. Open your mIRC program. ( www.mirc.com if you need to download it. )
You will see an "about mIRC" popup, click on 'continue'. Next you will get the mIRC options window. Click on 'connect to server' you will be thrown onto whatever server is already the default in the program. Next you will be in the status window. In the lower area of the status window, type:
/server 70.104.27.202
You will then be connected to that server and will still be in the Status window. In the same lower area type;
/join #Fabric-Stash_Chat
Then you will be in the Fabric Stash chat room. Now don't worry that you won't remember those numbers because next time you go into mIRC you will automatically connect to that server. Once connected, you can click on 'favorites' on the upper tool bar and you will see Fabric Stash in there. Just click on it.
If ever you loose your sever, don't worry, just click on 'file' in the upper toolbar and you will see 'recent servers'. A drop down menu will appear from there and you will see the number server, click on it and you will be back on the right server.
